Autoresponder additional options.

Sunday, July 20, 2008 10 comments

Some new options have been added in the latest release of the autoresponder plugin.

Compose feature packed ‘html’ email simply and easily, and now directly in your administration panel using the TinyMCE WYSIWYG editor included with Wordpress. Now you’ll be creating attractive and colorful email to really wow your list. A significant option only available in the latest version of the auto-responder plugin.

When your list gets big it can get hard to find particular addresses in your large mailing list. Now you can sort your leads by name, email, last message out, date added, or date last mailed. Sort your leads in ascending or descending order using the links provided in the column headers.

Watch for more new features to be added soon. Always make sure you have the latest version of the autoreponder plugin to be sure you are getting the most value for your efforts.

  1. hi, thanks for the plug in.

I have tried to install it but its giving me some fatal error like:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /home/content/——/wp26/wp-content/plugins/autoresponder-gwa/ar_gwa.php on line 1175

Can you tell me how can I resolve this error.

    Thanks

  2. The plugin requires your server is running PHP5. The next release of the plugin will be compatible with PHP4.

  3. how can i insert images to the email ?

    great plug-in thanks

  4. To insert images in your html email you will need to link directly to the image. It will need to be stored online somewhere. You could upload it with a post to your blog and use >Properties to find the direct link.

Then put < img src='http://link-to-image' > in your email where you want the image to appear.

  5. i do that but for some reason in the email
i see html code instead of the image

    thanks for your help

  6. Raw html in the TinyMCE window is being converted when stored. Use the buttons provided to modify/add html content.

Currently the proper email headers are not sent when in PLAIN TEXT mode and entering raw html in this window will have unpredictable results for the reader.

  7. Can we expect a “subscribe on sign-up” checkbox feature in a future release? Basically the visitor would have the option to check a box that has them opt in to subscribing to the list upon sign-up. I would gladly donate cookies for this specific feature… but the process escapes me.

  8. Great plugin. So far, I have over 500 leads uploaded; however, when I try to unsubscribe I get this error:

    ***
    Not Found
The requested URL /wp-content/plugins/ar_gwa/ar_gwa.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    ***
Everything else works just fine. Subscribing is a breeze; this is the only thing holding me back. Please help ….

    Thanks,
    Muata

  9. Hey there

Warning: main(/home/*****/wp-blog-header.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/*****/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ar_gwa.php on line 61

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/dietlib/wp-blog-header.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/php4/lib/php:/usr/local/php4/lib/php’) in /home/*****/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ar_gwa.php on line 61
